How StreamVexa forms an opinion, and what stops commissions from shaping it.

Comparison sites have an obvious conflict of interest: they get paid when you subscribe, and different services pay different amounts. The only useful answer to that is to publish the method and let readers hold us to it. This page is that method.
What we score
Every service review works through the same five criteria, weighted as below. The weights are fixed in advance and applied identically to every service, so a high-paying program can't earn a better score by paying more.

| Channel lineup | 25% | Whether the channels people actually cite as reasons to subscribe are present — locals, ESPN, regional sports networks — and how often the service loses them in carriage disputes. |
| Features that matter | 20% | DVR hours and retention, simultaneous streams, profiles, and out-of-home restrictions. We weight DVR and stream count heavily because they're the limits households hit first. |
| Apps and reliability | 15% | Coverage across Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, and consoles; playback stability during peak live events, which is when these services are actually tested. |
| Flexibility | 10% | How easily you can cancel or pause. Services that make cancellation deliberately awkward lose points regardless of what they pay us. |
Where our information comes from
Pricing, channel lineups, and feature details come from each provider's own published plan pages and support documentation. That is desk research, and we describe it as such — where a page reports specifications rather than hands-on experience, we don't dress it up as a field test. Where we have used a service directly, the page says so explicitly.
Ratings are ours, not crowd-sourced
Any rating you see on this site is a single editorial judgment by StreamVexa, applied using the weights above. We do not collect reader ratings, and we do not publish aggregate star scores — including in our structured data — because we have no genuine pool of user ratings to aggregate. Fabricated review counts are common in this niche and we won't add to them.
How affiliate relationships are handled
We apply to affiliate programs after deciding a service is worth covering, never the other way around. Some services we cover have no affiliate program at all, and we still recommend them where they win — a recommendation we earn nothing from is the clearest evidence the method is real. Commission rates are not visible to whoever writes the comparison. See the affiliate disclosure for the commercial details.
Only licensed services
We cover legal, licensed providers exclusively. We do not review, rank, or link to unlicensed IPTV resellers, and we don't accept payment to do so. This is a firm editorial line, not a case-by-case judgment.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it and update the review date. Substantive corrections — a wrong price, a missing channel — are noted on the page rather than quietly edited. Email support@streamvexa.com with the URL and we'll deal with it.
Review cadence
We aim to re-check every service review and comparison quarterly, and sooner after an announced price change or a major carriage dispute. The date shown on each page is when it was last updated. Streaming prices move faster than any publishing schedule, so treat our figures as indicative and the provider's own site as authoritative at the moment you buy.
